Beth McLiverty, PRESIDENT
Beth grew up swimming and fishing at her aunt and uncle’s cabin on Twin Island Lake, so her love for the lake goes back many years. She grew up in Vermont, but moved around the country working for Apple, always coming back to Pine Plains to visit and help care for her uncle when he got older. When he couldn’t live in the cabin any longer, she moved here and made it her retirement home. She has been a life long volunteer for many organizations and following in her aunt’s footsteps she has served for several years on the Twin Island Lake Association going back over 15 years. Her history and knowledge of the lake is extensive and she looks forward to continuing to help the lake thrive and be a wonderful recreational haven for the lake owners.

ROGER QUESADA, Board Member & Technology
Roger is an eCommerce professional providing digital and marketing expertise to the TWILA organization. He has advocated for environmental issues in his hometown in New Jersey, having worked with several organizations to successfully stop a natural gas power plant from being built in a highly urbanized, mostly low income and minority community.
A new face to Pine Plains, him and his partner have purchased the island property on Twin Island Lake with plans to stay long term. Roger and his partner love nature, its fauna and flora and enjoy being part of the conservancy effort of TWILA. He often spends time on the lake island, enjoying the fresh air, viewing the wildlife, hiking and exploring all that upstate New York has to offer.
His goal is to increase awareness of the organization’s goals, accomplishments and community stories surrounding the lake so that all who visit this area can learn via the website. Another goal is to facilitate digital donations and digital fundraising efforts.
